Folks, with the November Election fast approaching Lovells has upgraded our Absentee Voter Drop Box to one that is now fully compliant with State of Michigan regulations. The new box is of much sturdier construction, more weather tight, smaller input slot and a much improved locking system, all designed to give confidence that your vote, once placed in the box, cannot be tampered with. The new box is in the same location as the old box, next to the mailbox, right off or Twin Bridge at the Township Hall. As a reminder, Absentee Ballots can be: A) Mailed back to the Clerk in the Postage Paid Envelope, B) Placed in our new shiny drop box or C) walked in to the Clerk’s office, during normal Township office hours (9A-3P Tue-Wed-Thu). Thank you for your civic mindedness in our community and lets keep up Lovells tradition of having the highest voter participation rates in Crawford County !
